Hall Of Fame

Joe Youngman

Joe Youngman was inducted for his all-around Frisbee abilities. In the 1970s and 1980s, Joe was five-time world champion in distance; world indoor record holder for maximum time aloft; world champion in throw, run, and catch; and world champion in self-caught flight. In Guts Frisbee, Joe switched from a thumb throw to a turnaround backhand. Both remain among the fastest shots ever seen (or not) in competition. Joe competed in thirteen finals in Guts, and won seven times, including the International Frisbee Tournament twice and the GPA World Championship with the Library Bar.

Inducted at the 30th International Frisbee Tournament in 1997
