George 'Thor' Anderson

Mighty Thor, Thor of the North, George “Thor” Anderson’s Guts career began at the 1966 IFT, where his team placed second. Returning the following year with “Sky King” Richardson, the Foul Five won the IFT and became the first team ever to beat the Healy’s North Central! Thor played in every IFT from 1966 thru 1972, winning again in 1970 by defeating the Highland Avenue Aces. Thor played on the Legends team at the 2004 IFT, a nearly unbelievable 38 years after his first IFT. “Thor’s Mighty Hammer”, the GPA World Championship MVP trophy, is named for him.
