Mary (Callaghan) Hartz
Mary was one of the most skilled players in Guts history. Her defense was outstanding, and she could intimidate with her hands or her shot. She won an astounding twelve tournaments in fourteen final appearances, while playing with such teams as Redford Ringray Women, Lucky Ladies, and the Detroit Dolls. Callaghan Hartz won four IFTs, two GPA World Championships, and a US Nationals title. Mary could catch that match point or step up and throw the winning point in a big game with her backhand or sidearm throw. Her intensity was legendary, making her one of the top players in the heyday of women's Guts.
Inducted at the 54th International Frisbee Tournament in 2011
