• WFDF Press Release: WFDF announces London as host of 2016 World Ultimate and Guts Championships (WUGC)
  
  Feb 17, 2015 : : WFDF is pleased to announce that the WFDF 2016 World Ultimate and Guts Championships (WUGC) will be held in London, United Kingdom. WUGC will be held from 18 to 25 June 2016 at the University College London (UCL) Sports Ground in St Albans. WFDF expects more than 2,000 athletes from some 35 countries to participate in the WUGC 2016 in five divisions of Ultimate (Open, Women’s, Mixed, Open Masters and Women’s Masters divisions) and one of Guts Frisbee. • World Flying Disc Federation (WFDF) receives recognition by the International Paralympic Committee
  
  Dec 12, 2014 : : The World Flying Disc Federation (WFDF) is pleased to announce that the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) has conveyed on WFDF the status of an “IPC recognised International Federation (IF).” IPC Chief Executive Officer Xavier Gonzalez signed the letter confirming the approval of WFDF’s application sent last month outlining Wheelchair Ultimate activities in several countries including the USA, Canada, Germany and Japan. We had 16 teams and (9) brand new 1st time ever players, notably the 6-man team from NMU's Ultimate team called "Thunder Flick and those Ultimate Players The finals match was won handily by the Appleton Assassins over the Boomtown Saints, setting up a terrific clash come the Worlds.
