2014 Bradshaw Award Nominees
by Steve Taylor | Jan 23, 2014

This is a year in which the Board of Directors of USA Guts selects a candidate, or candidates, for the Dave Bradshaw Award.

The Dave Bradshaw Award was established by USA Guts to recognize those who have made remarkable, memorable contributions to the game, making it stronger and fostering growth.

The award is named in honor of the late Dave Bradshaw, a player whose drive on and off the field helped propel the game of Guts and kept it alive through one of its most challenging phases. Recipients of the award will be those whose own contributions to Guts have been instrumental in sustaining and preserving the sport.

Winners of the Dave Bradshaw Award will be recognized within the International Frisbee and USA Guts Hall of Fame. The award is given out in the off years of Hall of Fame inductions.

Members of USA Guts are encouraged to suggest nominees whose contributions to the sport of Guts – as player, sponsor, organizer, enthusiast or other roles – would make them worthy recipients of the Dave Bradshaw Award. Please feel free to include any relevant details on the career and contributions of your nominee. This will help in the selection process.

Nominations will be accepted through February 15, 2014. The USA Guts Board of Directors will select among all nominees and announce a decision in plenty of time for the awards ceremony which will be held in conjunction with the 57th Annual Coca-Cola International Frisbee Tournament (IFT) on July 5-6, 2014.
